What SehatGPT is
SehatGPT (sehat-gpt.com) is a technology platform that connects patients in Pakistan with independent, licensed medical practitioners. You describe what is wrong in Urdu or English, the AI suggests the specialty that fits, and you book a video consultation or an in-person clinic visit with a doctor. That is the whole job: understand, match, book, and then get out of the way.
What SehatGPT is not
SehatGPT is not a hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider, and it does not practice medicine. The phrase "ChatGPT for patients" describes how you talk to it, not who treats you. If that phrase made you pause before booking, the pause was reasonable. The AI is the front desk, not the doctor.
What the AI does, and what it never does
It helps identify the right specialty and books the appointment
When you say "seene mein jalan" or "a rash that keeps coming back", the AI works out which kind of doctor is most likely to help and shows you verified doctors in that field with their fees and timings. The platform then carries your request to the doctor, opens payment once they accept, and hosts the chat and video call.
It does not diagnose, prescribe, or give medical advice
Our terms of service, section 1, put it plainly: the AI assistant helps you identify the right medical specialty and book appointments. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or provide medical advice. All medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment come solely from the doctor you consult.
The doctor gets an AI case summary; the doctor still decides
Before your visit, the doctor can read an AI-generated summary of what you described and the history in your record. It saves you repeating your story and helps the doctor prepare. It is a summary, not a conclusion. The clinical judgement, the diagnosis, and any prescription remain the doctor's.
Who the doctors are
Independent, licensed medical practitioners
Doctors on SehatGPT are independent practitioners responsible for their own professional conduct, advice, and prescriptions. SehatGPT does not tell them how to treat you.
Credential check at onboarding
SehatGPT verifies registration credentials (for example, PMDC) when doctors join. As our contact page explains, applications are reviewed manually and PMDC registration details are verified before a doctor profile goes live. That is the exact scope of the check: we confirm the registration before listing a doctor. We do not issue certifications or badges of our own.
SehatGPT does not supervise the medical care
Per section 4 of the terms, SehatGPT verifies credentials at onboarding but does not supervise or control the medical services doctors provide. If something about a consultation does not feel right, contact us at support@sehat-gpt.com and we will look into it, but the doctor, not the platform, is the clinician in the room.
How a visit works (so you know a human is in charge)
- Describe your symptoms in Urdu or English, by voice or text. The AI suggests a specialty and shows doctors. You choose video or clinic and a time.
- Your request goes to the doctor. A human accepts or declines it. Payment is collected only after the doctor accepts, at the fee shown before you booked. If the doctor never accepts, nothing is charged (see the refund and cancellation policy).
- You consult with the doctor over chat and video inside SehatGPT. Any e-prescription comes from the doctor and lands as a PDF in your records, alongside your reports.

Emergencies: do not use SehatGPT
Call 1122 or go to the nearest emergency department. SehatGPT is built for non-urgent problems where a match and a booked consult make sense. Waiting for a doctor to accept a request is the wrong thing to do in an emergency.
Go now, rather than opening an app, if you or someone with you has:

- Severe difficulty breathing

Open-ended AI chat vs a specialty match plus a real consult
A general chatbot or symptom checker will discuss your symptoms for as long as you like and hand you a list of possibilities. SehatGPT is deliberately narrower. Its question is not "what do I have?" but "which doctor should I see, and can I see them today?" The conversation ends with a booked appointment, not a self-diagnosis.
Not a replacement for examination, tests, or clinical judgement
No AI can examine you, order and read your labs, or take responsibility for your care. A doctor can. That is why the routing is automated and the medicine is not.
Not the same as other "Sehat" health brands
Several Pakistani health products share the word "Sehat" in their names, and search results and AI assistants sometimes mix them up. SehatGPT is the AI specialty finder, booking, and consultation platform at sehat-gpt.com. It is not affiliated with telemedicine networks, clinic software, or pharmacies that use a similar name. Can I book for a family member or dependent?
Yes. Accounts are for personal use, and you may book appointments for dependents in your care, as set out in the terms of service.
Is my health information private?
Symptoms you describe, reports you upload, consultation messages, and e-prescriptions are visible to you and to the doctor you book. SehatGPT does not sell your personal information and does not use your consultation content for advertising. The privacy policy explains what is collected and who can see it.
